Agricultural Effects
BIOR 10 is a biological insecticide presented in the form of micro granules, which is made up of spores and toxins of the SA 11 strain of Bacillus thuringiensis var.Kurstaki. This product is used in the control of caterpillars, worms, lava, heliothis, moths and various other leaf eating slugs in crops and plantations of horticultural produce, citrus fruit trees and industrial crops.

It is a selective insecticide which is recommended for use in programs of integrated production, which act by means of ingestion, in such a way that the caterpillars that ingest the product stop feeding. The toxins act upon the intestine wall once the spores reach the intestine. This product is almost totally innocuous for the rest of the entomfauna.
Dosage and Applications
These bacteria are most effective against young larvae and should therefore be applied as soon as the first larvae are detected. We recommend the use of water with pH between 5.5 and 7.0, and hardness less than 130 ppm, expressed as calcium carbonate. The application can be made both aerially and terrestrially.
Alabama argillacea: 100-250 gr/Ha.
Anonis sp.: 500-1000 gr/Ha.
Spodoptera frujiperda: 500 gr/Ha.
Heliothis sp: 250-500 gr/Ha.
Pieris rapae: 125-250 gr/Ha.
Plutella xyllostella: 125-250 gr/Ha.
Diaphania sp: 250-500 gr/Ha.
Manduca sexta: 250-500 gr/Ha.
Heliothis virescens: 250-500 gr/Ha.
Apply BIOR 10 when the first larvae or crop damage appears, or when the eggs are near hatching. BIOR 10 may be applied preventively. Apply every 8-15 days. Do not use with water with pH higher than 8.0.
Warnings
BIOR 10 is compatible with the majority of fertilizers and phitosanitary products normally used, being advisable not to mix with products with a strong alkaline reaction (pH>9) or products which can alter the viability of the spores.
Maintain out of the reach of children.
Maintain away from foodstuffs, beverages and animal feed.
