FOLIGREEN 18-19-20 is an NPK soluble fertilizer for foliar application which is enriched with boron and molybdenum in mineral form and iron, manganese, zinc and copper; also the chelating agent disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). FOLIGREEN 18-19-20 is used in the fertilization crops and plantations of citrus fruit trees, flowers, fruit trees, horticultural produce, for industrial use, olive trees and vines; especially in moments of major crop activity (the active growth stage, fruit bearing and fruit growth). Nitrogen is a fundamental component of amino acids, which combined with carbohydrates creates lignin in the plant cell walls, and forms part of the energy system of the plant and participates in the process of synthesis of vitamins and auxin. Phosphorous carries out the transfer of energy to the whole plant and is essential in seed formation and in the stimulation of root growth. Phosphorous also improves the stability of the plant and emphasises the organoleptic characteristics of the fruit. Potassium is involved in the mechanism of water regulation throughout the plant system and also with the synthesis of proteins and carbohydrates. It regulates the transportation of the bi-products of photosynthesis via the phloem and the resulting distribution to the plant organs. In addition to increasing the mechanical resistance of the stem it also strengthens the root system and plays a part in the filling out and ripening process of the fruit.
Dosage and Applications
Foliar application:
Horticultural produce: 250-300 g /hL as needed.
Citrus fruit/fruit trees: 300-350 g /hL as needed.
Flowers and plants: 250-350 g /hL as needed.
Herbaceous and woody (ligneous) plants: 300-400g /hL as needed.
