The phosphite ion provides a prophylactic effect against specific oomycetes (mildew producing fungus), strengthens the stem and the roots against attacks by phythopthora and other diseases and prevents rotting in conditions of high humidity. The contribution of iron is an essential in the biochemical process of oxidation reduction, it participates in the photosynthesis of chlorophyll and in cell respiration, in the metabolism of carbohydrates, in nitrogen reduction and it also forms part of numerous essential enzymes. Nitrogen on the other hand is a fundamental component of amino acids, combined with carbohydrates it forms lignin in the cell walls; it forms part of the energy system of the plant and intervenes in the synthesis of vitamins and auxins.

Foliar application:

Horticultural produce: 300-350 cm3/hL, 3-5 applications at the beginning of the crop.
Citrus fruit/fruit trees: 200-300 cm3/hL.
Flowers and plants: 300 cm3/hL, at the beginning of the crop or in the spring shoot and in preflowering.
Herbaceous and woody: 300-350 cm3/hL, 3-5 applications at the beginning of the crop.
Olive tree: 300-350 cm3/hL, 2 applications, before and during the spring shoot.
Vineyard and grapes: 300-500 cm3/hL, 2-3 applications in budbreak, preflowering and after the flowering.

Soil application:

Fertirrigation: 2-4 L/ha and application, 2-5 applications in the moments previously mentioned.

PHOSFERRO is compatible with the majority of fertilizers and phitosanitary products normally used. However, it is advisable not to mix this product with mineral oils, copper compounds, dicofol, dimetoato, dinocap and products rich in calcium or with those products containing a strong alkaline reaction.
