Agricultural Effects
FITASIO is a highly concentrated phosphorous and potassium based solution which promotes the plants natural defenses aand induces the synthesis of phytoalexins in such a way as to enhance plant resistance against fungus and bacteria.
The phosphite ion provides a protective barrier against specific oomycete fungus; it also strengthens both the stem and roots against attacks from phythopthora and other diseases preventing rotting in conditions of high humidity.

Potassium is involved in the plants mechanism of water regulation and in the formation of proteins; also being responsible for the synthesis of carbohydrates such as starch and cellulose. It functions as an activator in the process of cell respiration and facilitates the active formation of many enzymes that take part in metabolic processes. Likewise, it regulates the transportation of the products resulting from photosynthesis via the phloem. The resulting distribution to the plants organs increases resistance towards drought, frost and cryptogamous diseases. The mechanical resistance of the plant stem is also increased which boosts the root system and plays a part in the filling out and ripening process of the fruit.

Dosage and Applications
Foliar application:

Horticultural produce: 250-350 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.
Citrus fruit/fruit trees: 200-300 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.
Flowers and plants: 200-300 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.
Avocado and potato: 200-300 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.
Strawberries: 250-350 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.
Olive trees: 200-400 cm3 /hL throughout the formation of the root system, flowering and the beginning of fruit formation.

Soil Application:

Horticultural products: 7-8L/ha every 20 days.
Citrus fruit/fruit trees: 6-8L/ha post-harvest and pre-flowering. With citrus fruit in spring, at the beginning of summer and beginning of autumn, wetting the foot and the trunk of the tree well.
Flowers and plants: 6-7.5L/ha. 3-4 applications in spring and autumn.
Avocado: 6-8L/ha post-harvest and pre-flowering.
Strawberries: 7-8L/ha every 20 days.
Potato:
6-8L/ha. A treatment every 3 weeks from the beginning of vegetation.

Warnings
FITASIO is compatible with the majority of fertilizers and phitosanitary products normally used. However, it is advisable not to mix this product with mineral oils, copper compounds, dicofol, dimetoato, dinocap and products rich in calcium or with those products containing a strong alkaline reaction.

Maintain away from foodstuffs, beverages and animal feed.
